And because we are a global company, your work may also include world travel.Primary Objective:Manager of Quality is responsible for developing a vision and strategy to ensure that MTS products and services meet customer requirements and exceed customer expectations. Ensures that key customer-facing metrics accurately reflect the expectations of customers, that these metrics are consistently applied across the business, communicated to key stakeholders, and used to continuously improve the performance of the business. Leads the global Quality organization, and works closely with Engineering, Operations, Sales & Marketing, Service & Repair, Customer Service, and IT teams. Instill a sense of urgency with regards to the MTS Quality System and be a dynamic driver of change.Major Areas of Accountability:

• Ensure customer expectations are accurately reflected in KPIs, specifications and requirements and communicated to key personnel within the organization.
• Develop, implement, communicate, and maintain a quality plan to keep the MTS' Quality Systems and Policies in compliance with quality system requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement using lean principles and ITW toolbox. Foster a culture of structured problem solving by promoting systematic root cause analysis methods on quality issues. Maintain metrics to ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
• Collect, analyze, and summarize defect data from internal processes, internal testing, suppliers, production, and the field. Communicate findings and work with appropriate leaders to compel improvements to product, processes, or standards.
• Lead the activities of the Inspection team (incoming and in -process) and assist addressing daily and current inspection challenges.
• Manage staffing, training, and performance management of assigned team members. Inspire, support, and encourage team members toward common goals.
• Provides leadership and guidance to individual career development of the department.
