it.We are seeking an experienced, performance- focused marketer to
join the Optum care marketing team to drive patient engagement and
Medicare member retention for Optum care delivery. The Associate
Director will be responsible for Medicare membership engagement
marketing strategy, content strategy, and retention programs.
He/she will leverage consumer insights, marketing research and
improve engagement and lead execution of multi-channel national
marketing campaigns with a focus on the senior population and
Medicare audience. The right candidate has led cross-functional,
enterprise campaigns and thrives in a performance-driven,
fast-paced environment where people are collaborative and not
afraid to take risks.The Patient Engagement lead will champion
modern marketing approaches include consumer segmentation, journey
mapping, content marketing and omni-channel campaign execution.
He/she will develop patient retention strategies using consumer
analytics and predictive modeling to define engagement
opportunities, develop goals and forecasts, and continuous
improvement through test and learn design and channel optimization.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to collaborate and
communicate across the organization (Regional Marketers, Creative,
Legal, Regulatory, Data & Analytics, Campaign Enablement, Marketing
Operations, Agency Partners/Vendors, Digital) to gain alignment and
execute national health engagement programs.Youll enjoy the
flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you
take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute integrated measurable health engagement
campaigns and programs with emphasis on lifecycle marketing,
patient journeys, health engagement content and omni-channel
engagement
- Solid collaboration with marketing analytics and business
growth partners to inform patient health engagement campaign
strategy including segmentation and targeting, A/B testing and
measurement plans
- Use research and consumer insights to understand customer
journey for audiences; work with marketing partners to remove
friction points in service, digital, call center, payer and clinic
channels to address key drivers of attrition
- Passion for nurturing patients through their journey, tracking
and optimizing their experience across every touchpoint and
marketing channel including digital
- Partner with the content team to execute audience-centric
strategy delivering targeted health engagement messaging and
education content across social media, website, and events
- Collaborate with digital operations to create patient
experiences, enable retargeting and touchpoint management to
optimize experience and drive product engagement
- Support and direct the regional marketing teams and experience
teams to prioritize at-risk retention segments
- Collaborate with campaign enablement team to implement, track
and measure of marketing campaigns
- Meet financial objectives through annual budget preparation,
budget tracking, ongoing forecasting and results analysis; oversee
regular reporting of KPIs across marketing channels and
campaigns
- Ensure that our brand and identity is adhered to in campaigns
and in all communication channels; partner with the content team to
execute audience-centric strategy delivering targeted messaging and
education content across social media, website, and events
- Deliver regular reports of campaign results, including response
analysis and KPI evaluation
- Ensures localization and adaption of retention programs based
on audience, local market priorities and geography
- Drive segment best practicesYoull be rewarded and recognized

interested in.Required Qualifications:
- BA or BS degree, preferably in business or related field or
equivalent experience
- 7+ years of professional-level generalist marketing
experience
- 5+ years of delivering highly impactful consumer engagement
marketing plans
- Experience developing engagement value propositions, consumer
journeys, and campaign plans
- Experience applying consumer insights, trends and marketing
analytics to inform marketing strategy including segmentation and
targeting, measurement, and campaign plans
- Demonstrated excellent communication, collaboration, and
planning skills
- Proven excellent organizational skills with a good sense of
prioritization
- Demonstrated passion for learning and growing digital and
performance marketing skills
- Proven ability to think creatively, strategically, and identify
and resolve problems
- Experience being productive in a highly matrixed
organization
- Experience planning, executing and measuring large scale
marketing campaigns in a complicated, matrixed organization with
multiple work streams and interdependencies
- Demonstrated ability to create insights from data analysis and
drive recommendations to leadership
- Proven ability to learn new concepts and adapt quickly
- Demonstrate excellent analytic, quantitative and
problem-solving skills
- Proven self-starter and learner with a hands-on
approachPreferred Qualifications:
- MBA
- Healthcare or financial services industry experience
- Experience working with local markets
- Experience with consulting and storytelling to communicate
ideas and gain consensus
- Understands modern digital marketing principles, strategies,
and best practices for digital engagement strategies
- Experience with Consumer Experience, Customer Journey Mapping,
CRM marketing platforms (Adobe, Salesforce etc.)Competencies :

Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $97,300 to
$176,900. The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada/New York City
residents is $97,300 to $176,900. Pay is based on several factors
including but not limited to education, work experience,
