We believe in making things happen.Stratasys is currently seeking a **Commodity Manager, Direct** to join our organization. In this role you will be responsible for supplier sourcing to provide materials and components for company product manufacturing. You will communicate product specification to suppliers and assess supplier's ability to meet the engineering and quality requirements. In this role you will also be responsible for meeting scope, schedule and cost objectives for NPD Projects and Programs. A couple other duties will include:+ Evaluate suppliers' internal functions to assess their overall performance and provide feedback in assessment of their operation+ Qualify suppliers according to company standards and may administer a Certified Supplier Program in receiving inspection to ensure cost effectiveness+ Monitor parts from acquisition through the manufacturing cycle and communicate and resolve supplier-related problems as they occur+ Review and analyze purchase requisitions+ Recommend cost savings proposals including make-versus-buy analysis or alternative sourcing_As a part of Stratasys, this position requires access to information and/or technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
