UnitedHealth Group, you'll be charged with analyzing some of the

Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform mathematical analyses and actuarial modeling to provide
management and internal customers with statistical findings and
conclusions
- Conduct and evaluate studies on healthcare cost, utilization
and trends; and determine the impact and feasibility of health
product proposals and business strategies
- Translate and communicate highly complex concepts in ways that
can be understood by a variety of audiences including senior and
market leaders
- Serve as key resource on complex and/or critical issues
- Coordinate and manage multiple work streams and project
teams
- Collaborate across Actuarial and HCE team and other departments
at OptumHealth
- Direct and review work of a team of analysts. Manage and mentor
staff within the teamYou should be ready to demonstrate your master
actuarial and leadership skills in a highly complex and matrixed
health care environment. You will be challenged with becoming a
trusted advisor and subject matter expert in your area of expertise

you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- ASA (Associate of the Society of Actuaries) or FSA (Fellow of
the Society of Actuaries) designation
- 5+ years of Actuarial experiencePreferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in the Medicare space (Traditional Medicare,
Medicare Advantage products) Experience working with ACOs & Value
based care modeling
- Expertise in Excel and Microsoft Office suites, and working
knowledge of large datasets (claim/eligibility/revenue)
- Intermediate level of proficiency with VBA (Visual Basic for
Applications), SAS (Statistical Analysis System) and/or SQL
(Structured Query Language)
- Self-motivated individual with the ability to solve problems

range for Colorado residents is $97,300 to $176,900. The salary
range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $97,300 to $176,900.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to
education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to
