This person will work closely with the Operations Manager and the Studio Engineer to manage the studio and its live and pre-recorded events/video productions. This person will organize the scheduling of the studio space, arrange appropriate staffing and ensure studio use is maximized by enterprise partners. This person is an essential team member who needs to be on-site daily.Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement deadlines, project goals, expectations, and workflows for studio crew to ensure smooth production
  • Maintain the studio schedule and communicate availability to internal/external teams
  • Work with facilities and catering services when necessary
  • Communicate clearly with project managers to assess and clarify client needs
  • Assign appropriate staff and schedule contractors
  • Partner with third-party crews when required
  • Create systems and processes for internal/external teams to understand studio capabilities/requirements
  • Curate libraries of video and branding assets
  • Ensure files are stored and named according to protocols
  • Oversee storage and maintenance of set pieces
  • Create a production budget with the Operations Manager
  • Provide input for recruitment and selection decisions

    • Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent work experience
    • 4+ years of experience in television, agency, or production house studio management
    • General knowledge of broadcasting equipment, media servers
    • Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, continuity, shot selection and composition
    • Experience utilizing solid leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage various -personalities -
    • Experience being adaptable and flexible in a changing work environment - -
    • Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously
    • Experience utilizing excellent attention to detail and accuracy with solid time management and organization skills
    • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements.
