The Senior Consultant Provider Network Management & Contracting is responsible for providing support and guidance on network development initiatives, network performance and optimization initiatives, provider network and data operations, provider reimbursement strategies and network management programs. The Senior Consultant Network Performance Manager will lead the assessment and evaluation of provider networks to identify opportunities for network performance improvements and develop strategic roadmaps for network redesign, best in class compensation and advanced payment models.

Primary Responsibilities:
Provide support and guidance on network development initiatives, network performance and optimization initiatives, provider network and data -operations, provider reimbursement strategies -and network management programs
Serve as a subject matter expert for network performance programs such as -affordability/ cost of care, provider compensation, provider utilization and cost management
Provide project management support for consulting engagements
Drive delivery of projects and lead project teams
Assist in the development of written proposals and PowerPoint decks to support business development and client deliverables
Support root cause analysis and develop targeted interventions designed to improve provider network performance in managing medical cost and quality outcomes
Assist with the development and execution of strategic plans to support targeted network performance improvement interventions for medical cost efficiency, quality outcomes and access to care measures
Perform in-person presentations for clients related to network provider data

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in a network management-related role handling complex network providers
3+ years of contracting experience for Medicare, Medicaid or Commercial business
2+ years experience managing large internal provider network healthcare projects/programs
Experience leading a team
Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation and meeting facilitation skills
Strong project management skills
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Ability to adapt to dynamic working environments
Intermediate to Advanced user of MS PowerPoint, Excel
Ability to travel up to 80%

Preferred Qualifications:
3+ year of experience with advance payment models such as capitation, risk arrangement, bundle payments
2+ years of -provider performance -management experience (i.e. affordability/ cost of care programs, network benchmarking of provider contracts)
2+ years of -network experience with a Payer

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $94,500 to $171,700.
