Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Provide leadership for an agile engineering team responsible for building and supporting ServiceNow Platform

Ensure infrastructure and application development processes are following best practices

Drive delivery on a roadmap that helps transform ServiceNow Platform capabilities to meet business needs

Produce high quality solutions that are reliable and scalable

Encourage the growth of engineers through skills development, objectives and goal setting

Collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team of engineers, tech leads, architects, product owners, quality assurance team

Support the software delivery teams ability to rapidly deliver high-value, quality software through the use of automation and best practices

Ensure application stability with dev-ops best practices for rapid problem triage and resolution

Work with IT ServiceNOW vendor Team and other key client stakeholders within IT and the Business

Conduct detailed analysis and study of customer requirements for new or existing projects to determine feasibility, cost and time required, and compatibility with current systems

Participate in cross-functional initiatives on the development and implementation of enterprise-wide major installations, upgrades and process changes

Provide technical guidance to others as appropriate

Reviews the work of others

Develops innovative approaches

Sought out as expert

Serves as a leader/mentor

Required Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience

10+ years of professional IT experience

3+ years of managing IT development team

Experience with ITSM processes (Incident/Problem/Request/Change management)

Experience with DevOps

Experience with Engineering best-practices

Experience with at least one modern programing language

Experience with Web-Services, SOAP, REST

Demonstrated knowledge of infrastructure design, implementation, administration, planning, developing

Preferred Qualifications:

Understanding ServiceNow development

Experience with Full Stack Development

Solid oral and written communication and presentation skills

Solid human relations skills to effectively interact with leadership and management, peers, business partners and vendors

Skilled at systems, creative, critical and analytical thinking, decision making and problem solving
