We are seeking an experienced, self-driven marketer to join the Optum Care marketing team as a Marketing Director focused on key influencers in the buying chain, independent insurance agent brokers, healthcare insurance payers and senior-focused alliances. In this role, the Broker and Partner Marketing Director will be instrumental in the strategy, program development and implementation of integrated B2B and B2C marketing strategy and campaigns, in support of the growth of Optum Care's patient base. Additionally, you will help build out and lead the development of new partnership arrangements.-- The successful candidate works within a highly matrixed environment, partnering closely with national and local marketing leadership to develop strategy and supports execution through partnerships with various internal stakeholder groups, including digital marketing operations, data and analytics teams, market insights, and legal and compliance to execute partnership and campaign strategy. You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on exciting new challenges. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior-level stakeholders to develop the Broker B2B relationship model, marketing strategy, plans and campaigns
  • Develop the B2B value story and selling support model for Brokers to fuel the patient acquisition pipeline
  • Develop influencer strategy to expand reach and engagement with key partners
  • Program development and implementation of integrated B2B and B2C marketing strategy and campaigns
  • Collaborate with national and local market executives to develop co-marketing opportunities with a range of insurance payers and curate partnership opportunities with senior-focused alliances, affiliates and partnerships
  • Develop co-branded integrated marketing campaigns with the aim of acquiring and retaining patients including joint thought leadership, education and events
  • Engage in competitive research, analytics to formulate strategy, value proposition, and marketing strategy and planning
  • Establish partner marketing goals and evaluate the marketing performance of partners and recommend improvements You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications:
    • BA or BS degree required, preferably in business or related field or equivalent experience
    • 10+ years of professional-level generalist Marketing experience
    • 5+ years of campaign management experience
    • Prior experience working in a highly matrixed organization, managing large scale campaigns with multiple work streams and interdependencies
    • Experience developing value propositions, consumer journeys, and campaign plans
    • Experience applying marketing analytics to inform marketing strategy including segmentation and targeting, measurement, and campaign plans
    • Experience in digital marketing and performance-driven marketing
    • Both B2B and B2C marketing experience

      • Healthcare or financial service industry experience
      • MBA in marketing
