Job Description:

The VP of A&D Sales is responsible for developing and growing the commercial sales division of Cambria.--This individual is responsible for developing the strategies and then driving smart implementation through the Field Sales teams to drive specifications and ultimately sales. InIn this role you will work with, influence and educate Field Sales teams and will oversee the central data center that supports them.This position is based out of our location in Eden Prairie, MN. Relocation required if applying from out of state. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Sell Cambria by developing the strategies and tools that will ensure success in the Commercial A&D channel--Develops and manages the strategy and tactical implementation of the resulting tools for the Commercial A&D channelIs the subject matter expert in the Commercial A&D segment, including but not limited to market size, target segment identification, competition, trends, appropriate certifications, regulatory forces and issuesResponsible for the development, management and implementation of a Commercial Playbook of best business practices and strategic tools for Field Sales teamsIs the primary contact with Marketing, influencing the development of tools and programs that support the Sales processWork with the Corporate Sales, Commercial Segments, Designer Sales and Business Development teams to develop and integrate strategies that will benefit the company, as well as advise and assist with planning and execution on any accounts where Commercial A&D is an opportunityDesign and maintain the Sales presentations targeted to Commercial A&D opportunitiesCollaborates with Marketing to identify trade shows relevant to this segment and plan for a presence at those shows.Responsible for oversight of the Commercial Nerve Center, which manages, analyzes and disseminates lead and sales data to and from the Field Sales teamDevelops the P&L for commercial sales which includes identifying proper revenue streams; targets and helps oversee the budget expense for headcount, selling expenses, samples and eventsActively involved in relevant industry associations--Responsible for one direct report to assist with Field Sales developmentAccountable as a senior leader to ensure critical thinking, problem solving and managing to expectations of high performance across the companySell Cambria by training, coaching and mentoring Market Representatives and Field Sales leaders in the channel of Commercial A&DEducate and mentor Field Sales management teams on best practices and news and innovations within the industry and the categoryLead and collaborate with the Field Sales management team in their strategic approach to account cultivationProvide initial intensive training and education to new Commercial Market Representatives to set them up for success, both in their markets and through the corporate facilities in MNProvide ongoing training and education to existing Commercial Market Representatives to guide their sales approaches, both in their markets and through the corporate facilities in MN--Qualifications and Skills:Experience in the architectural and design industry is a plusPrevious B to B Sales experience is requiredPrevious management experience required, including providing feedback, managing performance and developmentExpertise in presenting to senior and executive leadersStrong business knowledge and financial acumenAble to energetically and positively lead, motivate and influence a team--Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skillsEffective strategy development and implementation experience while building sales opportunities across divisionsSuperior collaboration skills across functions.Strong emotional intelligence and professional demeanor--Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsResults oriented, self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindsetDemonstrates professionalism, integrity, and fiscal responsibilityTravel Requirements: 70% travel to visit Field Sales reps, business partners and other Cambria locations. Must have the ability to work extended hours, nights and weekends. Must hold a valid Driver's License.Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 pounds of Cambria samples, tradeshow and other Marketing materials. Office position requiring telephone and computer use.--Minimum Requirements:Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent required; MBA preferredExperience: 15+ years of experience in commercial industry sales required, ideally in a building/design industry.
