Job Description Job Description Job Summary: The Operations
Procurement Intern will support the Operations Procurement team
responsible for sourcing, purchasing, contracting, and inventory
processes that keep operating solar, wind, and storage sites
running efficiently. This role provides hands?on exposure to
utility?scale renewable energy operations, supply chain management,
supplier engagement, and data systems used across the organization.
This internship is designed to build practical experience while
contributing directly to O&M procurement activities that
support reliability, cost control, and site readiness.
Responsibilities: Assist with processing parts and service requests
for operating sites, including collecting quotes, preparing
comparisons, and drafting purchase requisitions. Support the
issuance and tracking of Purchase Orders (POs) and Change Orders
(COs) for parts and services used in field operations. Help update
and maintain inventory records (e.g., part numbers, stocking
levels, vendor data) in systems such as Fiix or other internal
tools. Participate in supplier evaluations , helping gather data
and prepare evaluations for equipment and service vendors. Assist
with updates to spare parts programs , including documentation,
data cleanup, and identifying gaps in site inventories. Help
prepare and organize supporting documents for MSAs, NDAs, and
service agreements (with guidance from Procurement Legal). Assist
in tracking contract workflows, signature routing, and compliance
documentation. Help with procurement reporting, including PO
counts, spend summaries, delivery status, and supplier performance
metrics. Support research on pricing benchmarks, alternative
suppliers, and sourcing opportunities. Work with Operations, Site
Managers, Finance, Engineering, and Legal to ensure timely
procurement execution and document flow. Qualifications: Currently
pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business,
Engineering, or related field . Strong organizational skills and
attention to detail. Analytical mindset with familiarity using
Excel or similar tools to organize data. Clear communication skills
and ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders. Enthusiasm
for renewable energy, operations, procurement, or supply chain.
