DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Mobile first, responsive web development
• Work with continuous integration tools and frameworks such as Docker, Jenkins, Gradle, Postman
• Collaborate with both technical and business team members to understand requirements and develop solutions based on Bluestem Brands standards using an agile development process
• Hands-on development in an environment that embraces scalable, secure, and testable code
• Participate in code improvement activities to enhance the enterprise code base
• Supplement product development teams based on story need and direction
• Lead, drive and implement a modern, service-oriented architecture
• Present vision to both technical and business groupsQUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong passion and interest for web technologies
  • Skills with the following tools and technologies: Java, Kafka, React, IntelliJ, Jenkins, Spring Boot, REST, and Groovy
  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • Test first, continuous integration mindset
  • Experience with agile development methodologiesBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
