analyze quality data, recommend actions, and lead team members to
conclusions --- includes investigating non-conformances and driving
corrective action. Partners with the business to solve difficult
challenges associated with creating and maintaining management
systems and processes supporting ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and 45001
standards. Influences the organization to continually improve
processes that meet customer/regulatory requirements through
maintaining knowledge of best-in-class systems, management tools,
and techniques. As assigned, may be responsible for improving
incoming material quality, in-process product quality, and outbound
system quality. Major Areas Of Accountability Defines quality
metrics for key processes. Develops the measurement techniques,
tracks data, and drives appropriate action based upon resulting
performance. Establishes a roadmap for process improvements and
leads quality improvement projects. Investigates significant events
related to material quality, product quality, or EHS incidents to
assure effective corrective actions will prevent reoccurrence. When
appropriate, develops, implements, and improves core quality and/or
EHS processes to ensure processes meet requirements. Analyzes and
recommends best practices to achieve global process alignment in
the Quality and EHS Management Systems and assists with cross
functional and geographic implementation. Develops and implements
programs that comply with federal, state, and local safety and
environmental regulations, as well as quality system requirements.
Maintains a current working knowledge of organizational processes
associated with ISO 9001 and EHS regulations, while understanding
how they impact business. May track and monitor material and
product quality issues. Coordinates investigations on
non-conforming materials and products from incoming materials
received to outbound customer product delivered. Leads root cause
analysis sessions with teams (locally, globally, or with
suppliers), while also ensuring containment and effective
corrective actions are in place. Clearly communicates status to
stakeholders and holds team members accountable for actions. May
conduct supplier audits and/or supplier qualifications for
respective sourcing category leaders. Drives closure coordination
of reported non-conformities. Selectively engages with Key
Suppliers to drive quality improvement through qualification and
training efforts, including first article requirements and quality
scorecard business reviews. May represent MTS in the support of
customer and/or regulatory audits. Drives closure coordination of
reported non-conformities. May represent Quality department on New
Product Introduction teams to provide support for product
development and manufacturing readiness. Qualifications BS in
Engineering with 1 year of professional experience in working in a
manufacturing organization Passionate about management systems and
ability to demonstrate that passion. Ability to concurrently
organize and lead multiple improvement teams and to deliver on
assignments. Excellent interpersonal skills required for working
across multiple-functional organization lines and geographies.
Ability to prioritize assignments and multi-task, as well as being
a self-starter. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and
written, with presentation skills to a wide-ranging set of
audiences. Strong computer knowledge, including MS Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, and Visio. Experience in using SAP---s Quality Module
(inspection plans, quality notifications) and JMP/Minitab
preferred. Ability to travel (up to 15%) Additional Information All
