The DevOps Engineer is responsible for maintenance of external software tools such as version control software, issue tracking software, etc. Devise engineering approaches through programming and configuration of software tools to facilitate the implementation of processes, or to improve build and release of software or firmware. Responsible for the effective release of software, firmware, or tools artifacts to the organization.\n Starkey Hearing Technologies is a privately held, global hearing technology company headquartered in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. JOB SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who will be dedicated to setting up processes and automation to enforce best practices for development. The DevOps engineer will work closely with development team across the company to facilitate the development life cycle though processes, tools, and configuration of software. Their focus will be to maintain current systems and processes, setup automation to improve processes, and support the infrastructure for our development teams. The work will be 50% development and 50% support of infrastructure and processes.
Looking for:
4 Year Computer Science Degree or equivalent in the field experience (1-3 years)
Strong Verbal and written communication skills
Strong time and task management skills
Designed and developed programs or automation to achieve an expected result
Nice to Have:
Python, C#, C++, PowerShell Experience
Terraform Experience
Version Control System Experience
Issue Tracking software Experience
Wix Toolset Experience
