Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be
considered. A full-semester contract position is available for
experienced Special Education Teachers to provide cross-categorical
services in a virtual K-12 setting. These remote roles support
students across multiple disability areas, offering flexibility and
the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a dynamic
virtual academy environment. Location: Remote (serving students in
Burnsville, MN area) Contract Duration: ASAP through June 4, 2026
Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week Number of Openings: 2 Key
Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction and support to
students with disabilities in a fully online format Develop and
implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to the
needs of a diverse caseload Collaborate with interdisciplinary
teams to meet student academic, behavioral, and social-emotional
needs Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies
to ensure successful learning outcomes Communicate effectively with
families, administration, and support staff Qualifications:
Minnesota teaching license in Special Education with one or more of
the following endorsements: Autism Spectrum Disorders Developmental
Disabilities Early Childhood Emotional Behavioral Disorders
Learning Disabilities Optional: Academic & Behavioral Strategist
(ABS) license, allowing service to students with mild to moderate
needs across multiple disability categories Experience in
cross-categorical special education preferred Comfortable and
skilled in online teaching platforms and virtual instruction
