Job Description:

As a Maintenance Technician at Cargill, you play a critical role in maintaining the machinery and infrastructure necessary to uphold our mission of nourishing and sustaining the global community. Working within our dynamic food and beverage operations, you will apply your technical skills in a fast-paced, vital industry. You will take part in a supportive team environment where continuous improvement and proactive maintenance are paramount. Perform routine diagnostic checks on automated systems, isolate problems, and perform repairs. Ensure that machinery, such as conveyor systems and production machines, are maintained and in working order. Respond to equipment emergencies efficiently to minimize downtime. Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machines and equipment. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and ensure a safe work environment. Collaborate with the management team to improve production efficiency and suggest improvements. Document and log maintenance schedules and repairs to maintain compliance with industry and safety standards. Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Solid understanding of automation and control systems. Experience with welding and machining. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Analytical abilities with a strong attention to detail. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Professional certification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is a plus. OSHA Safety Certification or similar is advantageous.
