their way forward. The Patient Accounts Receivable Specialist
position provides exceptional customer service by responding to
patient questions specific to a bill for medical services,
processing payments, creating payment plans, all while adhering to
company policies. The position will be staffed during office hours
(8-4:30 pm). Handle incoming calls and assist patients with account
balance inquiries. Educate patients on EOBs, CPT codes, and
diagnosis details to ensure clarity and understanding. Process,
collect, and accurately post payments to the system, maintaining
financial integrity. Coordinate payment reporting and communicate
details to collection agencies for timely follow-up. Deliver
exceptional customer service via phone, resolving inquiries with
professionalism and empathy. Demonstrate independent judgment to
prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently. Ensure compliance
with clinic payment policies and procedures. Assist with all other
duties as assigned. Education: Minimum: High School Diploma or
equivalent. Desired: Post secondary education. Experience: Minimum:
2 years of revenue cycle experience in a healthcare setting.
Knowledge: Ability to work independently with minimal instruction
in a team environment. Understanding of CMS billing guidelines and
professional clinic billing guidelines. Experience of PC, Windows
and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of healthcare insurance and medical
terminology. Good grammar, spelling and communication skills.
