Volunteers of America National Services is seeking an Accounting Manager to work alongside our Accounting team in Eden Prairie, MN. The Accounting Manager will prepare financial statements for multiple Healthcare Facilities on a monthly basis and provide support with projects in the Accounting Department. Schedule: M-F 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Accounting Manager Highlights:

  • Responsible for the completion of financial statements for multiple Healthcare Facilities
  • Gathering information from each facility and recording the journal entries, generating the financial statements, reviewing financial statements, and reconciling accounts on a monthly basis;
  • Importing and review of A/R Journal Entries, Census, A/R Payer Review
  • Importing and review of A/P Batches, Census, A/P Payer Review
  • Provide daily support of financial and accounting matters to Operations, Accounting Department, Facility Executive Directors and Business Office Staff
  • Prepare for the annual audit. Reconcile accounts and prepare audit work papers
  • Research and provide budget numbers for several accounts for appropriate facilities
  • Medicare & Medicaid Cost Reports for appropriate SNFs
  • Reconciling accounts and preparing work papers and cost reports annually Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field
    • 4+ years of professional experience, 3 of which should include general ledger and financial reporting
    • Previous supervisory experience Preferred Qualifications:
      • Healthcare accounting
