We are seeking an operationally focused Senior Financial Analyst to join our HID Finance team. This role has a global scope and will serve as key finance support for our Desktop Business Unit within the Secure Issuance (SI) Business Area. As our Senior Financial Analyst, you'll support HID's success -by: -

• Acting as Business Partner to the SI Desktop Managing Director and other key stakeholders
• Providing financial insight to the business in assessing risk and opportunities to achieve its financial commitments. This includes establishing insightful analytics and reporting that enable the business to "see around corners" or better anticipate the future.
• Designing and implementing financial processes that deliver consistent and predictable results that link operational performance to the P&L
• Actively engaging and supporting the SI Finance Leader to meet deliverables during various financial cycles including Month End Close, Quarterly Business Reviews, Annual Budget, Forecast cycles and other ad hoc requests
• Proactively collaborating across multifunctional teams to create an environment that strives for global consistency of best practices identified both internally and externally to the organization
• Working closely with other members of the HID Global Finance team to ensure financial impacts of business decisions are understood, aligned and communicated - examples include Global Financial Planning & Analysis, Global Cost Accounting, Global Operations & Business Excellence and Global Shared Services
• Performing product-line and customer profitability analysis and recommend corrective actions
• Assisting with the analysis and integration of new acquisitions
• Partnering and advising SI Desktop Business Unit Managing Director in preparation of Business Unit strategy requirements, including what-if scenario planning. Provide strategic recommendations based on data driven analysis.
• Creating analysis reports and support others in the Business Area with reporting requirements.
• Translating financial analysis into clear data-driven storylines and insights.
• Improving systems and processes to increase accuracy and/or efficiency
• Completing special projects and ad hoc analysis in a timely and accurate manner Your -Experience -and Education should include: -
  • BS in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • MBA or CPA preferred
  • 5-7 years of experience gained in international/multi-cultural environments We would love experience with any of the following:
    • Complete End-To-End understanding of P&L analysis
    • Thorough understanding of business forecasting and financial modeling
    • Self-starter with strong communication
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Positive attitude, ability to work well under pressure
    • Ability to work in a global environment
    • Familiarity with IFRS/GAAP
    • Ability to thrive in matrixed organization
    • Knowledge of HFM or similar financial reporting system
