• Compensation: $23.00 - 26.00 per hour
• Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
• Worksite Location: Eden Prairie, MN (hybrid work environment) Accounting Clerk Job Description As the Accounting Clerk, you will play an integral role on the team, and you will oversee the maintenance of daily accounts receivable and accounts payable tasks. What you ll do as the Accounting Clerk:
  • Process invoices, obtain approval, and code correctly
  • Review invoices for proper sales and use tax
  • Set up new vendors and obtain all appropriate documentation
  • Process daily invoicing, electronically sending out the invoices
  • Process credit card payments for Credit Card customers in conjunction with invoicing
  • Process A/R payments as received by wire, ACH, and check
  • Work with customers to ensure all paperwork, POD s, etc. are sent with invoices to help ensure timely payment
  • Contacting customers for payment on past due balances
  • Run weekly production reports to ensure proper job costing on closed jobs
  • Assist with month-end items, including but not limited to adjusting entries, reports, sales tax returns What you will bring to the role as an Accounting Clerk:
    • Associates degree in accounting or Bachelor s degree in accounting preferred
    • 2+ years of experience in accounting; both A/P and A/R experience required
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Strong accounting acumen
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality
