Job Description:
The Materials Manager is responsible for overseeing the
day-to-day activities of the Planning, Warehouse, Buying &
Documentation departments. Set & adhere departmental goals in line
with company objectives. Also, serves as liaison between marketing,
sales, and operations. Responsible for the daily function of the
Buyer roles, working to meet Business Unit defined strategic
objectives. This role is supporting our Cold Chain business.Emerson

training.As a Materials Manager, YOU WILL:Create Production Plan to
meet customer requirements within production capacity.Interface
with customers, and manage various customer programs and scheduling
manufacturing to meet these demands.Liaison between production and
marketing.Oversee remote Procurement GroupInterface with
engineering, sales, production on new products plus Phase I-IV
product introduction.Ensure departments are meeting KPI's.Ensure
supply chain is capable of meeting key requirements, including
Customer OTD/IDOH/Material DeflationIdentification and segregation
of obsolete and excess inventory. Report & execute plan to Finance
quarterly.Comply with safety programs & OSHA requirements.Interface
between Procurement and Finance supporting payables and Approving
invoicesInterface with Finance to provide and review Budgets for
departments and review P/L MonthlyProvide Monthly Inventory
Forecasts to Finance and complete Operations inventory tracker with
Drivers.Provide and Execute Quarterly E&O activities and
reports.Execute Monthly MIN data extractComplete financial exhibits
on as needed basisApproved material PPV's, Department ERF's, new
vendors PO's as needed & Annual Std Cost refresh.Provide ERP
Training, Support, and Project leadSupport and manage Shared
service resources in ManilaSupport Corporate Materials and
Procurement activities. Annual pricing Negotiations, E-Sourcing,
Contract management, Material Inflation.Lead Annual Physical
InventorySign Off on ECO, Deviations, DCO'sInterface with Trade
ComplianceInterface with Emerson Logistics and CarriersWho you are

5-10% of it's time.Required Education, Experience & Skills:Minimum
of 5 years of related experienceIn Depth Knowledge of ERP
SystemsDetail oriented and cost conscious.Excellent customer
service skills and phone presence.Effective communication skills.MS
Office.Preferred Education, Experience & Skills:Bachelor's Degree
and 5 years plus of related experienceExperience with electronic
components (semiconductors)Lean Manufacturing and Continuous
