DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Division Controller is responsible for managing the plant financial data of the US operations of Phillips & Temro Industries. This position is part of the corporate finance team for consolidated Phillips & Temro Industries.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for all manufacturing cost accounting activities including cost estimates, inventory valuation and department spend.
  
• Ensures accurate standard costing, provide cost estimates, analyze manufacturing variances, maintain appropriate inventory reserves, and support process improvement.
  
• Support both internal and external audit objectives by evaluating and assuring that related processes have controls in place and are effective and adequate for operational efficiency.
  
• Coordinate preparation of Operations budgets to assure accurate overhead costs and direct labor rates.
  
• Responsible for monthly reporting of actual and forecast data for domestic manufacturing and supply chain, facilities, office services and order management departments.
  
• Responsible for the reporting of U.S. inventory and turns for all manufacturing locations.
  
• Perform analysis and give guidance to manufacturing, supply chain and process engineering departments.
  
• Produce cost and operational reporting and maintain key performance metrics for monthly Operations review meetings.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    
    • 
      
    • B.S. Accounting or equivalent required. CPA, CMA or MBA preferred
      
    • 7+ years progressive accounting experience
      
    • Experience with financial operations in a manufacturing environment
      
    • Demonstrated cost accounting and analytic skills, including inventory analysis and controls
      
    • Strong background with ERP; SAP preferred
      Qualifications
      EducationMasters of Business Administration (preferred)
      Bachelors of Accounting (required)
