It's an opportunity to do your life's best work.(sm)The Associate Director is responsible for supporting the Regional FP&A team in the financial performance of the overall Pacific Northwest Region (Washington & Oregon). The Associate Director will provide direct support to the Director of Finance in areas that include, but are not limited to monthly financial reporting, budget / forecasting cycles, business and system integration, capital planning, process development, and a variety of ad hoc projects. -You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:

• Facilitate preparation and communication for each quarterly financial forecast
• Coordinate the quarterly forecasting process, including accurate and timely delivery of the financial plan in line with Optum corporate timeframes and guidelines
• Partner with business leaders and cross-functional leaders to ensure the financial plan represents the input of the entire business
• Lead continuous improvement efforts to keep the forecasting and planning process aligned with a changing organization
• Leverage technology and best practices to drive efficiencies and improved analytics
• Develop standardized reporting for regional financial review

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field (4 additional years of experience can be substituted in lieu of a bachelor's degree)
  • 7+ years of experience in a finance related field -
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience
  • Financial modeling experience
  • Experience collaborating with employees at all levels of the organization -
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel, MS Office product suite, and other technology tools

The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $97,300 to $176,900.
