Primary Responsibilities:

Create and deliver standard consumer insights around consumer marketing consumer profiling and target market analysis to key stakeholders

Develop advanced analytics, algorithms and predictive models based on demographic, psychographic, econometric and statistical data that deliver insights

Undertake rigorous and meticulous data analysis to extract and distill key population insights that will be consumed by functions such as consumer marketing, business strategy and product marketing

Develop presentations around insights to be delivered to constituents at all levels:

Strategic

Tactical

Operational

Across function: marketing, operations, finance, sales, etc.

Joint solution with colleagues and key business partners, around the appropriate analytics tools for solutioning

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative/business field such as Economics, Statistics, or Computer Science

2+ years of statistical modeling experience in applications such as SAS, R, or Python

2+ years of reporting and analytics experience in tools such as Domo, Tableau or Power BI

Familiarity with Cloud solutions such as AWS and Azure

Solid knowledge of extracting and developing key consumer insights within a population

Experience with distilling insights and presenting to business stakeholders

Experience utilizing both qualitative analysis (e.g., content analysis, hypothesis testing) and quantitative analysis techniques (e.g., cluster analysis, inferential statistics)

Preferred Qualifications:

Healthcare industry experience

Ability to query databases and perform statistical analysis, solid understanding of statistics and statistical theory

Solid communication skills (written and verbal); ability to present communication plans to customers

Highly evolved problem-solving skills and adept at understanding and resolving unstructured problems

Solid team player, adept in multi-tasking

Actively works to resolve project challenges and facilitates knowledge transfer between team members

Strategist with ability to execute plans with solid attention to detail

Highly motivated with ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment

Ability to build and maintain solid internal relationships with various cross functional areas

Comfortable and adept at working in large organizations with matrixed organizational structures

Champions innovation and change across the organization

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only : The salary -range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary -range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
