You will paint with numbers through supporting the financial forecasting and budgeting processes, monthly accounting and analysis, and an array of business analysis. The Financial Planning and Analysis team brings a passion for being a strong partner to all functions and for driving visibility and understanding to the organization Essential Functions of the Role:

  • Finance and Planning
  • Support in developing and executing the forecasting and planning processes and rhythms to meet the demands of a fast-paced business with accurate and timely financial data, i.e. budgeting, forecasting, monthly performance reporting packages and analysis.
  • Develop and enhance metrics to allow the company to take simpler and more effective understanding of its financial and operational profile.
  • Conduct and drive ad hoc analysis, modeling, and recommendations in support of strategy discussions and decisions, process improvement initiatives and other special projects as needed for scenario modeling, investment analysis, cash flow analysis, trends, etc.
  • Sort and mine large sets of data from multiple data sources to identify trends, variances, understanding, and recommendations. Transform data into a visual communication.
  • Support in the development and deployment of our new Corporate Performance Management Software tool.
  • Support and managing the performance of the financial planning and analysis function in accordance with company policy and procedures.
  • Accounting and Analysis
  • Working with the accounting department to prepare financial records, including but not limited to the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, prepare and/or review of variety of journal entries, account reconciliations and analyses within the general ledger, financial statement development, report writing, and more.
  • Prepare variance analysis across various areas of the business.
  • Review and update regulatory and government annual reports/surveys/census.
  • Leadership
  • Establish strong strategic business partners relationships with management across all business functional areas.
  • Work closely with our Finance & Accounting team to deliver exceptional experiences.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Lead process improvement opportunities utilizing the LEAN Management system
  • Drive Customer and Employee Success by seeking opportunities for
  • Champion Change throughout the organization
  • Use the Spirit of EA Sween to guide decisions Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting, finance, financial planning and analysis, and financial modeling.
  • CPA or MBA a plus.
  • Proficiency in Database Management Systems and Corporate Performance Management Software, JDE and Insight are a plus.
  • Overall data literacy.
  • Demonstrated skills specifically to work cross-functionally with internal and external customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to combine strategic and detailed perspectives.
  • Experience thriving in a matrixed culture.
  • Understand and interpret complex issues and recommend actions resulting in improved business performance.
  • Possess strong problem identification, resolution abilities, exhibit professional judgement and sound decision-making skills.
  • Experience driving cross-functional collaboration with a strong emphasis on customer focus and building high performing teams.
  • Strong Excel skills in data compilation, aggregation and proficiency with Excel formulas Physical Demands and Work Environment:
  • Generally, an office/desk position using a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally
  • Must be able to work occasional extra hours
  • Must be able to work on/direct multiple projects at one time without direct supervision and be able to meet deadlines, handle confidential information and interruptions in the work process
