today and beyond. Role Summary: As an Estimator, you will be looked
upon to analyze, validate, and financially assess proposed
solutions which meet and exceed Client expectations & goals. The
combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills,
creativity, and effective communication will be essential, as you
will be integral to the success of the full project lifecycle.
Primarily focused on Bid-Spec and Design-Build projects, this role
requires a vast foundational knowledge of low-voltage systems
including Access Control, Video Surveillance, Intrusion Detection,
DAS, and Structured Cabling. PM18Requirements: Key
Responsibilities: Develop accurate, detailed, and competitive
proposals with associated costs by evaluating project
specifications and requirements. Ensure project specifications,
industry standards, and best practices are met prior to
installation to guarantee quality and compliance. Conduct detailed
site surveys with colleagues to gather essential data for precise
quoting and proposal development, as required. Collaborate with
internal teams to determine the most effective strategies, ensuring
optimal value and pricing for complex projects. Manage the
collection of quotes from subcontractors and suppliers. --- Liaise
with manufacturers and supply chain partners to obtain necessary
quotes and registered pricing. Support the project management team
by participating in planning meetings and sharing insights from the
design & estimation process to align project assumptions and
project delivery methodology. Serve as a trusted advisor to
internal team members, providing expert guidance and support of
system technologies and deployment techniques.Requirements: High
school diploma with a minimum of (10) years of low-voltage system
design and implementation experience; Associate degree with (8)
years of low-voltage system design and implementation experience;
or Bachelor's degree with at least (5) years of low-voltage system
design and implementation experience Substantial experience and
strong ability to interpret construction documents and detailed
understanding of low-voltage systems, specifically Physical
Security (Division 28) Strong organizational, detail orientated,
critical thinking & decision-making skills. Enthusiasm for
expanding knowledge and skillsets while contributing to the success
of others. Proficient with Q360, Microsoft Office Suite, BlueBeam,
and other relevant estimating software. Manufacturer familiarity
with Genetec, Axis Communications, Hanwha Vision, i-PRO, and Bosch
